KES are still way out in front in what is fast turning out to be one of the best seasons by an U14 team for many years. Still unbeaten KES brushed aside all comers at the Charl van Rooyen Week to still lead the U14 Cricket Rankings for this week.

Following a very successful Oppenheimer Cricket Week by Affies and St.Stithians and a dominant time enjoyed by SACS at the Cape School Week, those three teams lead this week’s SA Schools 1st Team Rankings.

KES who have yet to embark on the second half of their season still head the Greenfields U15 Rankings for this week although there is plenty of cricket still to be played as more teams take the field.

There has been plenty of cricket played across the country will a lot more to come as we head into the Oppenheimer , Cape Schools and other festivals around SA.

St Stithians College alumnus Kagiso Rabada and current pupil Wiaan Mulder made history at the CSA awards banquet by winning a record nine awards combined.

SACS rest comfortably at the top of the U14 Cricket Rankings at the completion of the first half of the 2016 with an unbeaten run of six matches.

After a very busy 2015/16 season the dust has finally settled on what has been another terrific season of schoolboy cricket. With zero defeats out of some 33 matches few would argue that St.Stithians are the deserved champions of the sport and finish at the top of the Powerade Rankings for the Season!

It is always of interest to see how the various U14 teams’ line up each year as it can give a strong indication of how a school’s cricketing fortunes will be for the next few years. Although there have not been many matches played in this division we have PBHS ranked at the top of the U14 Rankings for this week.

There is very little change on the U15 Powerade Rankings for this week with a the same top ten teams who have set the pace for 2016 still leading the way.

The annual Coca-Cola Schools T20 Challenge reaches its climax this month when six of the best school cricket teams in the country don the colours of their local franchise at the national finals, taking place at North West University from 18-21 March 2016.

As the 2015/16 Cricket Season for the First XI’s draws to an end we are looking at a fairly stable Powerade Top 60 Rankings for this week with little change to the top half of the table.

The cricket season starts to wind down although there were still several key matches played during the past week.

KES enjoyed another successful campaign last week against Affies to galvanise their spot at the top of U15 Powerade Rankings for this week.

It is a relatively undisturbed top 10 in this week’s Powerade Top 60 Rankings although for the first time in the season Affies break into the ten elite teams with a strong finish to their season.

This Week’s Cricket Results from around the country:

Waterkloof make steady inroads up the U15 Rankings this week however the unexpected loss to Menlopark would have hurt as they set their sights on finishing even higher up the table.

As the 2015/16 season moves into its final chapter we are looking at a fairly stable Top 10 in this week’s Powerade Top 60 Rankings.

U14 Cricket: The First U14 Rankings for 2016

Still early days for the U14’s as they find their feet in the world of high school cricket and with the results submitted so far we have Pretoria Boys High as the leading team on the U14 Cricket Rankings for this week.

KES remain the front runners this week in the U15 Cricket Rankings after enjoying some good wins over Gauteng opposition.

St Stithians continue their purple patch with a couple of wins last week to cement their place at the top of the Powerade Rankings for yet another week.

This Week’s Cricket Results from around the country:

A good week of results by Affies sees the Pretoria team move within touching distance of the top ten in this week’s First XI Powerade Top 60 Rankings.

A crackerjack weekend of school cricket across the country with plenty of great results, big scores and lots of wickets.
