Vote for the January Mr.Price Sport Award!

Who Should Get the January 2013 Mr Price Sport Award?We have whittled down the entries for the January SA School Sports/ Mr Price Sport Award to three outstanding athletes who now stand in line to win the R500 voucher from Mr.Price Sport.


mpIn addition the winner of each month’s award will go on to the final shortlist at the end of the year to see who is crowned South Africa’s School Sports Person of the Year and the winner of a R1000 voucher!

January’s nominees are...:

Ryan Rickelton: A Cricketer who plays for the St.Stithians First XI had a memorable match when his team faced Centurion in January. Batting for 80 overs and spending a mammoth four hours at the crease, Ryan Rickelton went on to score an unbeaten 210 runs!

Byron Smith: The Bryanston High School First XI cricketer had an incredible match when his team took on Edenglen High in a T20 match. Byron Smith was in sublime form as he hammered his way to a staggering 250 runs not out off a mere 85 balls!

Calvyn Justus: The Westville Boy’s High swimmer competed with the best swimmers in the world for the SA Open Swimming team at the BHP Billiton Aquatic Super Series in the Perth Australia and won two bronze medals! In addition Calvyn Justus broke the U20 African record!
