First DHS and Glenwood draw swords and refuse to play each other as DHS accuse Glenwood of poaching 2 Grade 8 players from their school and now it turns out that Glenwood has now discovered that 4 of their 13 year old Grade 8’s are actually….17 years olds!

DHS Severe Sporting Ties with Glenwood

A decades old sporting tradition has come to a dramatic end with the announcement yesterday that the oldest school in KwaZulu-Natal will no longer be playing any sport against their longest rivals.

Yet another school rugby season has come and gone and as has become the norm some brilliant rugby has been played across all the age groups.

The U14 SA School Sports Top 100 School Rugby Rankings for 2019.

The U15 SA School Sports Top 100 School Rugby Rankings for 2019.

The U16 SA School Sports Top 100 Rugby Rankings for 2019.

Nobody will be surprised to hear that Grey College have ended the 2019 season as the No.1 ranked team on the SA School Sports First XV Top 100 Rankings.

Grey College were given a genuine test by Glenwood who travelled up to Bloemfontein to take on the leading team in the country. Although there were times when Glenwood hinted at causing a major upset, Grey managed to win well at the end and stay at the head of this week’s SA School Sports First XV Top 100 Rankings.
